Swansea needs councillors who vote against cuts! No to austerity - vote Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (TUSC).

Don’t waste the opportunity to send a clear ‘no more cuts’ message by voting for Ronnie Job, TUSC: the only no-cuts, socialist candidate in Swansea West in the 2015 General Election!

SWANSEA COUNCIL CANDIDATE HOSPITALISED BY VICIOUS DOG

Les Woodward, the 'Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition' candidate for Gowerton ward was viciously attacked by a dog whilst delivering election leaflets on Sunday morning.
Les had his hand ripped open by the dog (see attached photos) as he posted his election leaflet in Mount Pleasant, Gowerton and has been detained at Morriston hospital for treatment.
Les works at the Remploy factory in Fforestfach which has been targeted for closure by the ConDem government. Les is the National trade union convener for Remploy workers and is leading the fight to keep all the 54 Remploy factories open.
Les said: -
"I am standing for the 'Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition' because I have always fought against injustice and I firmly believe we should refuse to pay the price for an economic crisis that was caused by billionaire bankers, spivs and speculators. Unlike the other candidates I believe we should refuse to implement all the cuts!
I must admit I expected to be attacked by my political opponents but not by a dog. Hopefully I will be out of hospital soon and back on the campaign trail fighting for a socialist alternative, knocking doors and keeping my hands out of letterboxes"!
